Wallpaperer UK: Definitely more commonly used throughout the nineteen sixties and seventies, wallpaper still springs into and out of fashion for decorating the family homes of UK from time to time. Still worthwhile considering when re-decorating, even during these high-tech times, wallpaper has recently experienced a resurrection for the adornment of "feature" walls, as opposed to the entire house.

Putting up wallpaper, of course, isn't as easy as painting, although the professionals will make it appear like it's as easy as pie. There are certain steps that need to be implemented with wallpaper hanging, and only a pro will know the best way to approach this.

With an escalating band of householders in UK settling on the do-it-yourself option in relation to decorating, the fact that wallpaper has more or less been kicked into touch is by no means surprising. Realistically just a brush and roller is all you are going to need to paint a room, whereas to cover it in wallpaper you'll need to have a whole range of tools and equipment.

You're at a minimum likely to require a seam roller, a taping knife, scrapers, a wallpaper smoother, a pasting brush, a chalk line, a paperhangers brush, a trimming edge, a pasting table, a retractable knife, step-stool/ladder, filling/stripping knifes, paper-hanging scissors, a steamer and a wallpaper scorer, if you're going to try wallpapering on your own. You should give some thought to bringing in an expert UK wallpapering specialist, if this list discourages you at all.
